JTradeX is a paper-trading and learning application. It uses real market data for educational purposes only. No real money transactions or real brokerage orders are made through the app.

We may collect and process the following data:

Account & Authentication

• Username / display name
• Login credentials (if applicable)
• Authentication tokens

Usage & App Data

• Paper trading activity
• J-Bot related settings and activity
• Feature usage (e.g. Daily Brief, Sentiment, Alerts)
• App settings and preferences

Subscription & Purchase Data

• Google Play subscription status
• Purchase tokens (used only to verify Pro access)

Technical Data

• Device type and basic technical information
• IP address (processed by hosting and security services)
• Logs needed for security, debugging and reliability

We do not collect:

• Real banking or brokerage credentials
• Payment card details (these are handled by Google Play)
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, or other sensitive personal content

We process data for the following purposes:

• Providing the app and its features → Performance of a contract
• Managing Free / Pro subscriptions → Performance of a contract
• Improving the app and fixing bugs → Legitimate interest
• Security and abuse prevention → Legitimate interest
• Legal compliance → Legal obligation

We use the following categories of services:

• Google Play – for app distribution and subscription payments
• Hosting provider (Hetzner) – to run the application servers
• Cloudflare – for security, performance and traffic protection
• AI service provider – to generate market insights and certain AI features (processed on our servers; branded in-app as JTradeX AI)

These services process data only as needed to provide their functionality.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data.

The application is hosted in the European Union (Finland/Germany region). Some subprocessors may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability (where applicable)
• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

JTradeX is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
